Local Show for International Artist: FAL member Robert McGaw’s work will be featured in “Familiar Places: The Fine Art of Robert McGaw,” in the Fisher/Wall Gallery at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, through August 29. Robert’s landscapes continue to be acquired by collectors and corporations worldwide. He is featured artist in the July 2022 issue of American Art Collector Magazine. The gallery will hold an opening reception on Friday, July 22 from 6-8 p.m.

Just in Time: With Findlay’s Balloon Fest approaching, instructor Janealla Killebrew will offer a watercolor class in Painting a Hot Air Balloon on Saturday, July 30. She also has classes planned for August on Painting a Cute Squirrel and Painting a Child. Register for these and other classes on the website.

Sunday in the Garden: Member Sharon Hammer Baker will open her garden and studio to visitors on Sunday, July 24 from 1-4 p.m. It’s a peaceful way to spend an afternoon and view Sharon’s miniature paintings, fiber artwork and flowers! Location . . . 314 Greenlawn, Findlay.
